# Notes sidebar

The notes sidebar in Anara shows a global list of all notes in your library. This means you can see and access every note you’ve created.

## Notes list

The main view displays your notes sorted by most recent. Each note is shown with its title, and clicking a note opens it in the sidebar so you can read or edit it.

## Creating a note

Click the + button in the top-right corner of the notes sidebar to create a new note. Notes can be used to capture ideas, summaries, or references that you want to keep in one place, regardless of where you are in Anara.

## Editing and managing notes

Open any note to make edits directly. You can rename a note, update its content, or delete it using the menu in the top-right corner of the note view.

This menu also includes an option to open the note in full view for easier reading and editing.
