Annotations in Anara let you capture, organize, and discuss key information directly within your documents. You can highlight important passages, add color-coded notes, and leave comments for yourself or collaborators — all without leaving the viewer.

Creating a highlight

  1. Open a document.
  2. Select any text to bring up the annotation toolbar.
  3. Choose a highlight color from the palette to mark the text.
  4. Your highlight will be saved automatically and appear in the Annotations tab on the right-hand panel.

Adding a comment

  1. After highlighting text, click Comment in the annotation toolbar.
  2. Type your note in the comment box and press Enter to save.
  3. Comments appear in the Annotations tab alongside the highlighted text.

Viewing and managing

  • Open the Annotations tab in the right-hand panel to see all highlights and comments for the document.
  • Click any annotation in the list to navigate instantly to that specific location in the document.
  • Hover over any highlight to quickly view its associated comments.
