1. Describe the task

The specification is 400 pages. Your scope is in 30 of them, but you do not know which 30 without reading all 400. Or you have a contract that needs interrogating: the SLA thresholds, the reporting requirements, the insurance obligations, the exit terms, and you need them before tomorrow. 5. Tricks, tips, and troubleshooting

How you word your prompt shapes what you get

Start with a boundary-definition question before extracting. “Is this field-applied or shop-applied?” before a painting scope extraction, or “does this contract include force majeure provisions?” before an obligations review, confirms you are reading the right document for your question. Name the exclusions explicitly: if factory finishes are not your concern, say so. Anara will not infer it.

Check the output against your own understanding

Anara extracts what the document says. It does not know trade conventions for specification language, local interpretation of standards, or the history of ambiguous clauses with this client. When Anara flags an ambiguous item, the flag reflects what the document says, not what the client intended.
