Connectors let you bring your tools and data directly into Anara. Connect your favorite apps and services to quickly import files without leaving the app.

Available connectors

Anara currently supports the following connectors:
  • Zotero - Connect your Zotero library to import research papers and references
  • Mendeley - Access your Mendeley library for seamless paper management
  • Google Drive - Import documents and files from your Google Drive
  • OneDrive - Import documents and files from your Microsoft OneDrive
  • SharePoint - Connect to SharePoint sites to access team documents
  • Notion - Import pages and databases from your Notion workspace

Setting up connectors

To add a connector:
  1. Go to Settings in Anara
  2. Navigate to the Connectors section
  3. Select the service you want to connect
  4. Follow the authentication process for that service
  5. Once connected, you can access the connector from the sidebar plus (+) menu

Using connectors

After setting up a connector, you can:
  1. Click the + icon in the left sidebar
  2. Select your connected service from the import options
  3. Browse and select the files you want to import
  4. The files will be added directly to your Anara library
Anara includes powerful AI search capabilities for your connected apps. You can search your external libraries directly from chat using these specialized search agents:
  • @SearchZotero - Search your connected Zotero library
  • @SearchMendeley - Search your connected Mendeley library
  • @SearchOneDrive - Search files in your OneDrive
  • @SearchSharePoint - Search documents in your SharePoint

How connector search works

  1. Type @ in any chat to see available search agents
  2. Select the search agent for your connected service (e.g., @SearchZotero)
  3. Enter your search query
  4. The AI will search through your external library and return relevant results
  5. You can then import these results directly into your Anara library
Anara periodically checks for updates in your connected libraries to keep search results current, ensuring you always have access to your latest documents and references.
