Formatting Toolbar

Core formatting options like bold, italics, lists, and headers are available in the toolbar at the top of the document.

Floating Menu on Text Selection

When you highlight any text, a floating menu appears with quick actions:
  • Edit with AI Improve, paraphrase, expand and shorten text using predefined actions, or edit with a prompt of your own. You can set the AI used in the editor (independent of the AI used in chat) from this menu or the settings menu.
  • Cite Cite sources by selecting “Cite” from the bubble menu. You can search the internet or your library for books, research papers and websites based on your selected text, and change the citation format in settings. The menu floats with your selection or you can pin if you’d like to apply citations from the results to multiple parts of the document.
  • Chat Highlight specific parts of your note and click “Chat” to attach a particular excerpt to the Chat input.

Edit Mode

You can also edit your notes directly from the chat using Edit Mode. When viewing a note, simply open the chat and select “Edit” to modify your content. For example, you can ask it to convert a technical document into a simple summary or rewrite a paragraph to match your brand’s voice.
