Chat with Anara
Ask about a file, a folder, or a research question and check the sources.
Anara can search sources, read relevant content, and use tools to complete a research task. Tell it what you need and check the evidence behind its answer.
Start a conversation
Use Agent or Create > Agent for a general conversation. Open a file or folder and use Chat in the right sidebar for a conversation associated with that item. The sidebar label is Chat.
Ask a focused first question, such as "What are the methods and limitations in this paper?" You can use a suggested starter question if one fits. For a folder, ask a question across its files and specify whether external sources are allowed.
What Anara can do
- Search your library, the web, academic literature, and connected services.
- Read source passages and available full pages, URLs, and media.
- Create or edit notes, spreadsheets, files, charts, and images.
- Import sources and organize workspace content.
- Plan a multi-step task and ask for clarification when needed.
Review any proposed import, edit, or external action before approving it. For a larger task, ask for a plan first and state the output you want. See workspace actions and outputs.
Ask about a passage
Select text in a PDF and choose Chat to include the passage in your question. Use Explain for a focused explanation of selected text. You can also mention a file, folder, or source with @.
Continue and check
Chats save so you can return to them. Use Chats or Cmd+K search to find a conversation. Use Stop to interrupt a response and the available retry or regenerate control to try again.
Open citations and read their surrounding context. If an answer is wrong, identify the unsupported claim and ask for a correction from the source. For recurring instructions, use Skills and folder instructions.
