Connect Notion

Search and update Notion through its hosted MCP connection.

The Notion connector works with your live Notion workspace through MCP. It is available on Plus and above. It does not automatically copy your Notion workspace into your Anara library.

Connect

Open Settings > Connectors.
Find Notion and click Connect.
Complete Notion's authorization flow for the workspace you want to use.
Return to Anara and confirm the connection.

Search alongside your library

Type @ and choose Notion, or ask Anara to find a named page or database in Notion. Include the page name or your team's terminology when possible.

Find my Evidence Synthesis page in Notion. Compare its conclusions with the papers in my Anara project folder and cite the evidence for any disagreement.

For updates, describe the exact page and change you want. Review any approval request before allowing a write to Notion. The connected account's permissions still determine which content is accessible.

Troubleshooting

Reconnect if authorization expires. If a page is missing, check that you connected the correct Notion workspace and granted access to that content. There is no Notion import connector or Resync workflow to configure. For other hosted apps, see MCP servers.
