Skills and folder instructions

Use Skills for reusable methods and folder instructions for rules that belong to a project.

Skills

Type / in chat to find an available Skill. A Skill gives the agent instructions for a repeatable task. Tell it which files to use and what result you want.

Open Settings > Skills to manage the Skills available to you. Start with an existing method where it fits and adapt your instructions for the work at hand. Avoid relying on an instruction to compensate for missing source material.

For each study, identify its research question, population, methods, results, and limitations. Cite the passages and mark anything not reported.

Folder instructions

Open the folder's settings and choose Instructions. Enter the standing rules you want Anara to follow in chats in that folder. People with permission to modify the folder can change these instructions.

Examples:

• Answer from this project's files and state when evidence is missing.
• Report units and uncertainty with quantitative results.
• Use the terminology in our project glossary.

Instructions are saved with the folder. For an isolated request, put the rule directly in the message. For language, model, or citation defaults, use Preferences.
