Sources and @mentions

Source controls tell Anara where it may look. Mentions identify sources or actions for a particular request.

Source controls

Open the source controls in the chat composer. Depending on your interface, these are in the + menu or beside the input.

• Disable Web when the answer should come from your own material.
• Disable Library when you do not want a library-wide search.
• Open or mention the specific file or folder when the task has a defined evidence set.

State the boundary in the prompt as well: "Use only the attached file and say when it does not answer the question." A source setting does not guarantee that an answer is complete or correct. Check its citations.

Mention a source or tool

Type @ and search the menu. It includes library and web sources, connected apps, files and folders, and actions such as Create note, Edit note, Create citation, Create image, and Plan. Availability depends on your connections and plan.

@Library Compare the study designs in my project folder. Cite the relevant methods passages and flag files that only have abstracts.

Notes and project rules

Settings > Preferences > Include notes in AI responses controls whether your notes can be read and cited. Use folder instructions to keep standing project rules with a folder.
