Workspaces and members

Manage workspace identity, invitations, roles, and seats.

A workspace holds a research library and its membership. Click the workspace name to switch between workspaces or create one. Check the selected workspace before changing billing or inviting collaborators.

Workspace settings

Open Settings > Workspace to edit the name, workspace URL, or icon when you have permission. The URL slug is the part of the address that identifies the workspace. Update any saved links after changing it.

Invite members

  1. Open Settings > Members.
  2. Choose Invite and enter the email addresses.
  3. Choose the role offered in the dialog.
  4. Review any additional seats and charges, then send the invitation.

Members can also join through the workspace invite link available on the Members page. Share it only with the people you intend to invite. If more paid seats are needed, the workspace owner must handle the additional seats.

Roles

Owners manage workspace settings, billing, and membership. Members use the workspace and its shared content. The standard invitation dialog offers Owner and Member. Some account and billing operations also recognize an Admin role; that does not mean every workspace exposes Admin as an invitation option.

Use the member's role control to change their access when permitted, or remove them from the workspace. Inviting someone to the workspace is different from sharing one folder. Use folder sharing when a collaborator only needs a particular project.

Usage and billing

Included usage is per person; purchased credits are shared by the workspace. Adding members can require paid seats. See plans and billing and usage and credits.

Leave or delete

Eligible members can use Settings > Workspace > Leave workspace. Owners see Delete workspace instead. Deletion permanently removes the workspace and its associated data. Export anything needed and resolve membership and billing before confirming. If an ownership restriction blocks leaving, ask another owner or contact support.
