Connect Gmail
Find email context and bring relevant messages into your research.
Connect Gmail to use email as a source in Anara. Gmail requires Pro or above.
- Open Settings > Connectors.
- Find Gmail and click Connect.
- Sign in to the Google account you want and authorize access.
- Return to Anara and check that the account is connected.
Find email context
Mention Gmail in chat and identify the sender, topic, or date range. Anara can search the connected account and use relevant messages in its response.
Find the email about the revised study protocol from last week. Summarize the changes and compare them with the protocol in my project folder.Gmail does not have the same file-import picker as Drive. Ask the agent to retrieve or import the relevant email content instead. Connecting Gmail does not import your entire mailbox.
Check access
If a message is missing, confirm the connected account and use a distinctive subject or sender. Reconnect from Settings when Google authorization expires. Review proposed external actions before approving them. See connectors for how live access differs from imported copies.
